Our Story

A lifelong passion for coffee, community & charity

Lagunas Coffee Roasters began in Denver with a simple conviction: a bag of coffee should do good at both ends of the journey. Three roastmasters roast every order to order, so the coffee that lands on your doorstep left the roaster days — not months — ago.

That care starts at origin. The Papua New Guinea lot supports smallholder “coffee gardens” in the Eastern Highlands. The Rwanda Ngoeroro was chosen to stand with a country where coffee is a major export and roughly 40% of people live in poverty. The Colombian lots come from smallholder farmers working volcanic slopes in Cauca.

Great coffee, honestly sourced, roasted fresh in Denver — and a cup that gives something back. That's the whole idea.
